I find myself  categorizing my own thought processes using Sweet’s acronym (E.P.I.C.”) to help organize and cut through the churchie-red-tape that muddy the waters of Christ’s original intent for “me inside the church”.

Time, Talent, Treasures – E.P.I.K.

E- His presence. Christ needs to be shown through us. Let others “experience” Him (2 Cor. 3:2-3).Time

P- His power has been given to us through His Spirit for the glorification of The Father, the edification of The Body of Christ and the empowerment of the believer in Christ (Acts-the Church Age). Participate in the Body of Christ.Talent

I-His provision is to be shared (Colossians, Ephesians) . Image-bearers of Christ (2 Cor.3:2-3)
